THIS ITEM IS SOLD! This cool old bowl is a brick red in color with a white frositng like finish around the edge of the top edging of the bowl and spread around the top of the lid. It has this incredibly lovely double deep red apple - one slightly larger than the other - top or handle with bright green leaves on either side. The piece is marked on the bottom "Made in Calif" USA and has the numbers 105 in the middle. The bowl is stepped or terraced all the way to the top and fluted around the edge. The lid ihas a lip inside that fits into the bowl perfectly. This bowl has a diameter opening of 6" and stands 2-1/2" high. The lid has a diameter of 6-3/4". There are no chips, cracks or crazing of any sort on this piece. It is in pristine vintage condition. Shipping and handling within the US is $12 and will ship this priority US mail with insurance.
