This is all done in gold tone metal. I have no idea of age but would suspect it is from the 1980s. The pocket watch itself is of a standard size. The case is gold tone metal with a big old 18 wheeler truck etched out on the front. The back is all etched lines and swirls in a pattern. The watch is a Milan Quartz Japan Movement. You open it by pushing down on the stem at the top. The stem also pulls out to set the time. The watch has a new battery in it as of January 2008 and is keeping good time. The fob chain is just a heavy duty link chain with no hook at the other end. The diameter of the watch is 2". There is a great deal of etching, filigree and mill grain work detail on the case of this watch. Lots of fun and what a great gift for a trucker!
