This is a beautiful and large parrot brooch all done in gold tone metal. The metal showing on the front is all very shiny. The metal on the back is shiny but nubby, too. The parrot is made of of sections divided by the gold tone metal to denote fleathers and wings and tail, etc. His wings, tail, head and neck are all black enamel. His eye area is red enamel. His under body is all pave or invisibly set clear round brilliant cut crystal rhinestones. The parrot brooch is 3" tall and 1-1/2" wide at his widest. His feet are all etched to look like talons gold tone metal. His eye is a circle of raised gold tone metal with a black enamel dot in the center. This brooch is large and a real statement maker.
